The Patterns of Corruption in the 21st Century - Conference and Call for Papers

The CRIISEA Research Center in Amiens, France and the Institute of International Economic Relations in Athens, Greece are organising an international conference on "The Patterns of Corruption in the 21st Century". The venue will be Athens and the dates the 6 and 7th September 2008. The focus of the conference will be the analysis of the existence of economic, societal and institutional checks and restraints on corrupt behaviour in the 21st Century. The main topics will include: development, foreign investment, social networks and institutions, conflict and postwar reconstruction, governance, market reform and mass media. A call for papers is open until June 9, 2008.
