Jennifer Cumiskey, Chief Financial Officer
Jennifer Cumiskey is responsible for providing hands-on management of all tasks related to finance, accounting and management reporting.  Prior to joining Development Gateway, Jennifer was CFO of Optima Direct, a major direct marketing agency of the Omnicom Group.  She also held senior management positions at WorldSpace and Verizon, and was a senior management consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers.  Jennifer holds a B.S. in accounting from University of Maryland, and an MBA with a concentration in finance from the George Washington University.

Stephen Davenport, Senior Director, Business Development/Partnerships
Stephen manages the aid effectiveness team. Prior to joining the organization in 2000, he worked with the World Bank, IBM, Computer Associates, and BearingPoint, developing technology solutions for the public and private sector. He currently holds a master's degree in international business administration from Georgetown University, and a bachelor's degree from Washington and Lee University. 

Gerhard PohlGerhard Pohl, Senior Director/Strategy Advisor
Gerhard is responsible for technical operations as well as the online procurement and knowledge communities programs. Prior to joining Development Gateway, he was sector manager for finance and private sector development in the Europe and Central Asia region office of the World Bank. Gerhard holds a doctorate.

Nadia AfrinNadia Afrin, Product Manager, Zunia
Nadia has a bachelor's degree in business economics and astrophysics from Agnes Scott College. She earned a master's degree in science and technology policy from the George Washington University, with concentrations in international development and space policy.

Catalin AndreiCatalin Andrei, Director, Information Technology
Catalin’s role is to ensure the successful execution of Development Gateway’s mission through development and deployment of information and communications technologies. Catalin has a master’s degree in engineering from the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées in Lyon, France. Before joining Development Gateway, he worked with Capgemini.

Philipp AnokhinPhilipp Anokhin, Director of Engineering
With more than 10 years of experience in the field of information technology, Philipp has worked as a research assistant, adjunct professor, programmer, and senior software engineer. He holds a doctorate in information technology from George Mason University. He also has a bachelor's degree and master's degree in mathematics and applied mathematics from the Novosibirsk State University, Russia.

Walter ArteagaWalter Arteaga, Senior Software Developer
Walter has several years of software development experience from working at Backus and Johnston Brewery, Unique S.A., and IBM. Previously, he was the project manager of a customer relations management system using voice as interface. Walter holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in software engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica, Peru.

Andrea CalabreseAndrea Calabrese, Technical Support Engineer and WebMaster
Andrea provides technical support to the team, as well as installing and maintaining servers, workstations, and the network infrastructure. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in management and a minor in computer science from Strayer University. He also studied at John Cabot University in Rome. Previously, Andrea was systems administrator for Redroom Omnimedia Corporation in San Francisco.

Nancy ChoiNancy Choi, Director, Products and Operations
Nancy oversees Development Gateway's product offerings and public goods, with a focus on strategic planning, coordinating product teams, and optimizing impact. Prior to joining the organization in 2006, Nancy served as a senior humanitarian information specialist at USAID. Nancy holds a master's degree from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, and a bachelor's degree in anthropology from Harvard University.

Riccardo de Marchi TrevisanRiccardo de Marchi Trevisan, Product Manager, AidData, and Partnerships Manager
Riccardo is the AidData product manager and Development Gateway's Partnerships Manager. Previously, he was in charge of the development and marketing of AiDA (Accessible Information on Development Activities). He has a background in communications and marketing and holds a degree in international law from LUISS University in Rome, with a specialization in e- government for development, and an Executive Master of International Services degree from American University.

Martha FowlerMartha Fowler, Executive Assistant
Prior to joining Development Gateway in 2006, Martha was the corporate secretary and executive assistant to the CEO for Development Alternatives, Inc. Martha served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Gabon and Togo. She attended the University of Maryland and Loyola College, where she majored in sociology.

Vanessa GoasVanessa Goas, Senior AssociateProject Development 
Vanessa is a development analyst on the aid effectiveness team. She recently received a master of arts degree in international affairs and international development at George Washington University. She holds a bachelor's degree in international relations from the University of Miami.

Isabelle HauswaldIsabelle Hauswald, Manager, Proposals and Contracts
Isabelle is a member of the dgMarket team. Before coming to Development Gateway, she worked as a legal counsel for the information technology affiliate of L'Oreal in Paris, and as an international corporate lawyer for Schurmann and Partner. Isabelle holds graduate and postgraduate law degrees from the University of Paris Law School, and she has earned a certificate in public management from Indiana University, Bloomington.

Emily KallaurEmily Kallaur, Manager, Communications and Marketing
Before Emily joined Development Gateway, she worked as a consultant for the World Bank, focusing on research and analysis of economic issues in eastern Africa. Emily holds a master's degree from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, and a bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Virginia.

Djamila KerimDjamila Kerim,  Senior AssociateProject Manager
Djamila supports business development efforts. She is a member of both the aid effectiveness and dgMarket teams. Previously, she interned at the International Committee of the Red Cross where she conducted research on missing persons and their families. She has a bachelor's in international management and a master's degree in business administration from the School of Management and Communication, Geneva.

Carmen LathanCarmen Lathan, Senior Legal and Office Administrator
Carmen manages legal agreements and implements operational and administrative processes. Previously, she managed membership and education programs at legal associations and worked as a director at a legal recruiting firm. She has a background in human resources and holds a bachelor's degree in communications from Loyola University and a law degree from Catholic University of America.

Rudolph PetrasRudolphe Petras, Senior Manager, Aid Management Services
Rudolphe oversees internationally the implementation of the DG aid effectiveness tools, the Aid Management Platform (AMP) and ODAdata, and manages all related services. Prior to joining Development Gateway in July 2007, he worked for the Development Assistance Committee of the OECD for ten years, focusing on aid effectiveness and aid statistics. He holds a master's degree in economics from the University of Paris I - La Sorbonne, and a master's degree in econometrics from the University of Paris X – Nanterre.

Josh PowellJosh Powell, Associate, Business Development
Josh works on business development for AidData and AMP, with an emphasis on aid effectiveness, transparency, and geocoding. Prior to joining DG, Josh was the AidData Geocoding Coordinator. He holds a BS in Finance from the University of Baltimore and a Master's degree in Public Policy with an emphasis in International Development from Brigham Young University.

Bindu VenugopalBindu Venugopal, Technical Manager
Bindu works on the aid effectiveness team. She has over five years of experience in software development and management. Prior to joining the organization, she worked as a project leader for companies in India and the United States. She holds a graduate degree in software programming and management and a bachelor's degree in electronic and telecommunication engineering from University of Pune, India.
